Is there a cure for homosexuality?

This is a very interesting question. it implies that homosexuality is an illness. You think it is you will want a cure, I presume. I have read much of the literature claiming treatment for homosexuality and my judgement is that it is deeply flawed and dangerous. If you want a flavour read Nicolosi's works. Some of it is embarrassingly shallow.

  1. Have just looked at a brief interview with Nicolosi on YouTube, and had a look around the NARTH website. I feel slightly bilious now.

  2. The question boils down to the constructs of market forces and political power. (Muck and brass).

'Treating' homosexuality would not be cost effective - and furthermore is not a vote winner.

Edmund Burke said that breaking the laws of commerce = breaking the laws of nature = breaking the laws of God.

This is why the Conservatives have decided that God loves gays.

St Augustine of Hippo: "Love, and do what you will". Major political and religious institutions have taken on board "do what you will" but have failed to take on board the injunction to "love" - with all it's attendant responsibilities.
